Working with the Californian post-production company PostScript Creative, I designed, fully illustrated, and then animated scenes to be incorporated into The Grio's: Juneteenth Special. ↓
As a freelancer working alongside many animators directed & produced by Hey Beautiful Jerk, I retouch, sliced, rigged (DUIK), and animated zombies, Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy Kilmister & Phil (from Motörhead) for the Official 30th anniversary of Hellraiser. ↓
Under the Lead Animator Miguel Hernandez (M75er), I contributed about 20 scenes to the HBO Max Jeremy Lin Documentary 38 At The Garden. ↓
Contracted by HBJ again, I retouched/sliced, rigged, and animated characters for the Firestone Walker Brewing Company's Mind Haze IPA ad. ↓
I created promotional social posts for Well Go USA's film Baby Assassin. ↓
I helped the Casual Films team create animations on multiple global corporate onboarding videos for the Yum! Corporation — a parent company to KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, etc. ↓

Working with the Californian post-production company
PostScript Creative, I designed, fully illustrated, and animated scenes for The Grio's "Juneteenth: Celebrating Centuries of Black Excellence," with PostScript's creative direction. The brief called for illustrations inspired by QUEEN CHARLOTTE: A Bridgerton Story and required a quick turnaround.
Below are the character design concepts, style frames, final background illustrations and explorations, animatic, and some of my favorite assets from the project. Maintaining a degree of historical accuracy was essential—Scene 1 was adapted from Jefferson’s Monticello home, while Scene 2 presents a stylized depiction of the Monticello kitchen, where James Hemings worked.

Produced & Directed by the fantastic team at Hey Beautiful Jerk.
Storyboards, concept design, and illustration by Glenn Urieta.
Animation team led by Matt Carr Jr.
This music video was a collaborative effort, brought to life by many talented and amazing artists.
Over the course of more than 200 hours, I contributed to 20+ scenes—retouching artwork, rigging characters with DUIK, and animating in After Effects using provided illustrated style frames.
The video here is a compilation of most of my contributions. Assets not animated or composited by me are noted both below and in the video. I fully animated some scenes, while in others, I focused on character and background animation, which HBJ later composited.
Please note:
Some assets were modified in the final video by HBJ.
The scene order here differs from the official music video.
Not all of my animations are included in this compilation.
FX and composited elements added by HBJ are not represented here.
● 00:22: Lemmy’s animation and the eyeball gore/brain were created by other artists. I composited these elements into the scene alongside my zombie animations and blood FX. I also animated additional elements on Lemmy.
● 00:29: Ozzy and Lemmy were pickup animations from a previous animator, as were the zombie keyframes. I animated Phil and retouched/sliced the artwork to replace all character layers with updated zombified versions.
● Redux of these scenes with only my animations at the end of the video.
● The full music video is also provided below the compilation for reference.
● My name made the contributing artist easter egg in the last frame.

I had the honor to animate about 20 scenes under the lead animator Miguel Hernadez (M75er). EMMY winning The 38 At The Garden chronicles the extraordinary ascendance of point guard Jeremy Lin during his landmark 2012 season and will be shown on HBO Max.

Utilizing images provided by HBJ, I sliced/retouched in Photoshop, rigged with DUIK, and animated in After Effects. I included all animated characters in a compilation to show my contributions to the Mind Haze advert.
The below Pterodactyl was rigged (without DUIK) in 3D space to help accentuate the already foreshortened look of the image. Puppet pins are placed on the feet to give a limp glide feel. The wings were sliced to bend at specific joints to help the flying effect.

I created promotional social posts for Well Go USA Entertainment's film Baby Assassin. Originally pitched as a cinemagraph, the first scene utilizes a 3D camera while I added character animations with DUIK, and displacement maps. This is a compilation of scenes created but not all were used in the final.

Working as a freelancer with multiple editors and animators, I helped the Casual Films team to create animations on multiple global corporate onboarding videos for the company Yum! — a parent company to KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, etc.
Within the already established direction, I animated one of these videos entirely to myself called Great Listener, one of the client's favorites. Casual supplied me with brand icons, character illustrations, and an edited video of the on-screen actor. I also created custom illustrations/icons utilized in many of the videos, all within the Yum! Brand guidelines.
Note: I did not edit the footage of the actor.

A compilation of many of my custom illustrations, text animators, and character animations utilized throughout many of the Yum! Onboarding videos.
I templatized many of my animated motions, text animations, and character animations to be easily picked up by other team members to be incorporated in all subsequent videos for consistency.
Below are some of the on-brand custom illustrations, as well as alphas of them in action.
