I had a desire and curiosity to learn how to print my own illustrations. This prompted me to build a 4-color process silk-screening press, that I bought from eBay. Soon I found myself printing not only my own designs, but those commissioned by friends, local bands, and of my friend's artwork.

Prior to purchasing a 4 color process press and proper screens, I was commissioned for tote bags for the band Caged Animals. I researched a low-cost DIY home setup by creating screens (one pictured below) with canvas stretchers + silk, waterbased inks, and using Ulano LX660 QT emulsion. I sourced attachments to hook a garden hose to my bathtub in order to washout/clean in a bathtub and without a printing press, I was forced to line the prints up by eye. All illustrations used on the tote bags are of the band members' faces and illustrated by me with the exception of the sawtooth smile.

Apotheosis illustration is an illustration based on an 18th century alchemical symbol called "the Hand of Mysteries"; lore says the hand holds the keys to divinity, and is used as an invitation to discover the “great secrets.” All prints below are illustrated by me with the exception of "Free Palestine" image.
